The Connections program at the Belmont Career Center recently completed a community service project for the Belmont County Animal Shelter. The class chose to build several dog houses to help the shelter take care of its ever-growing animal population. All the wood used for the houses was recycled from the school's Carpentry program.

Pictured with the houses are, from left, Brooke Lewis, Shadyside; Kaycee Tantillo, Shadyside; Alyssa McGlothlin, St. Clairsville; Ariana Conaway, Bellaire; Ashley Marling, Bellaire; Kandelynn Hess, Bellaire; and Preston Richards, Bellaire. Instructor is Ed Reese.
