Personal Services Classes

Allied Health Science

Students receive two years of training in the medical field. They train in various health professions, such as medical assistant, nurse aide, first aid, CPR and medical terminology.

Junior students learn basic health skills used in all health care occupations. Seniors will complete the state approved Nurse Aide Training Program, making them eligible for state certification, during the first semester. In the second semester, students may take part in early job placement, job shadowing and volunteer activities.

- Appointments, scheduling, billing and filing
