HCC Welders Certify 100%

Ten senior students at the Harrison Career Center recently earned their American Welding Society (AWS) credentials. Total Quality Testing Laboratories from Brook Park, Ohio, performed the visual and destructive tests required to attain certification.

The students qualified in the category of AWS D1.1 Structural Steel in the 3G position (all positions except overhead).

Guthrie was very pleased with the work put in by the students to achieve the perfect results. "AWS acknowledgement will provide a tremendous boost for these students beginning their careers," he remarked.
