Students Prep for State SkillsUSA Competition

This group of students from the Belmont Career Center will be competing in the 60th annual Ohio SkillsUSA state competition on April 27-28, at the Ohio Exposition Center in Columbus. SkillsUSA is a national organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled, service and health occupations.

First place winners at the state contest will advance to the National SkillsUSA competition in Kansas City in June. Debbie Hawthorne serves as Ohio SkillsUSA advisor for the Career Centers.
