Auto Collision Technology

If you are interested in Auto Collision Technology, then you probably have a love for cars, enjoy working with your hands and have a flair for color and form. Now you can tie these all together, follow your dreams, and make a good living. The collision repair business is booming and because of significant changes in the design, construction, finish and electronics of today's cars, there is now a shortage of top notch technicians.

The opportunities in Auto Collision Technology are endless for both men and women and show no signs of decreasing. Having the desire to pursue a career in auto collision is a great start, but you also need a good solid education.

The basic knowledge in the skills of math, science and English are helpful for your success in this field. You will apply math for measurements and dimension, and science when mixing paint and refinishing materials. English with good communication skills go hand in hand when dealing with coworkers, customers or writing estimates and reports. Many auto collision technicians with talent and leadership qualities go on to own their own businesses.
