Students from the Harrison Career Center recently performed a community service project for the Cadiz Union Cemetery. The students rebuit the sign that hangs on Charleston Street. They used a computer to design the sign, programmed a CNC router to carve out the letters and the border, and then painted it. They also straightened, re-welded and painted the metal frame.
Pictured, from left, are Cemetery representative Nathan Norris; Shawn Ayers and Caleb Mutton, both Occupational Lab students; Cemetery Sexton Jimmy Dowdle; and Jarrett Edwards and Kendall Johnson, both Welding students.
