Hospitality & Tourism Students Tour the Fat Apple Bakery
The Hospitality & Tourism students at the Belmont Career Center recently toured The Fat Apple Bakery in Bridgeport.
The students were given a first class experience. They created their own gourmet apple with caramel, chocolate and sprinkles. They toured the Christmas Wonderland upstairs. The Grinch showed up and ate ice cream with the students. Finally, they were able to ask questions on how to run a successful business and shop.
Before returning to school, the students stopped next door at the Bridgeport Police Station. They brought goodies for the officers. They wanted to say "thank you" and show their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the officers.
