Allied Health Science students train in health professions such as medical assistant, nurse aide, first aid and CPR. Junior students learn basic health skills used in all health care occupations. Seniors complete the state approved Nurse Aide Training Program, making them eligible for state certification, during the first semester. In the second semester, students may take part in early job placement, job shadowing and volunteer activities. Instructors are Cathy Yochum and Maura Birney.
