Barnesville Satellite Program Featured At Education Conference

COLUMBUS -- The Belmont-Harrison Vocational School District's satellite program at Barnesville High School was showcased for its outstanding student achievement at this year's Ohio School Boards Association Capital Conference and Trade Show, attended by more than 9,000 public education stakeholders.

The Student Achievement Fair, which highlights 100 innovative programs, is one of the most successful and rewarding exhibitions at the Capital Conference.

OSBA selected the Belmont-Harrison VSD's "Business and Administrative Services Career Pathway," located at Barnesville High School, to participate in the Nov. 14 exhibitions on its program's creativity and positive impact on student achievement.

Students and staff from districts across the state displayed innovative programs and offered others the opportunity to observe and learn what Ohio public school districts are doing to enhance learning and student achievement in their schools.

School board members, administrators, teachers, students, vendors and guests attended the three-day Capital Conference on Nov. 12-14 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

In its 62nd year, OSBA leads the way to educational excellence by serving Ohio's public school board members and the diverse districts they represent through superior service, unwavering advocacy and creative solutions.

For more information, contact OSBA or your local school board members.
