HCC Welders Certify 100%

HCC Welders Certify 100%

Sixteen students at the Harrison Career Center recently took their American Welding Society (AWS) test and all sixteen earned their AWS credentials. Certified Welding Inspector, Todd Parker, administered the visual and destructive testing required to earn the credential.

Students earning 3G certification--all positions except overhead--include Kadin Carter, Tyler Porter, Jory Marvin, Zach McNutt, Owen Raber, Jaymz Bassa, Blayne Erwin, Shaylee Heavilin, Alex Ziegler, Terry Milliken and Cameron Schafer.

Students earning 4G certification--all positions--were Jacob Arnold, Joe Burrows, Jacob Donahue, Storm Dowdle and Erik Williams.

Greg Guthrie, instructor, was very pleased with the work put in by the students to achieve the perfect results. "AWS acknowledgment will provide a tremendous boost for these students beginning their careers," stated Guthrie.
