Math Students Learn Financial Literacy From Guest Speaker
Students in Miss Stacee King's business math classes learned a valuable lesson in financial literacy from guest speaker, Kevin Druschel. Druschel is the finance manager from Henry's Used Cars in Moundsville.
Students heard about financial responsibility/decision making, planning and money management, consumerism, credit/debt, risk management and insurance. More specifically, Druschel discussed what students can expect when they decide to purchase a new car, the impact a customer's credit score has on the monthly payment, insurance (auto, gap, warranty), debt to income ratios and credit contractual agreements.
